Distance and direction. The most basic information you need to answer the question, "How do I get there?". Sometimes you simply want to know how far your destination is and in which direction. Thats the job of Hone In. Simple interface; basic information. You choose the destination, and Hone In shows a map with your current location, the remaining distance in bold type, and a large arrow pointing in the direction you need to go.

Simple. Effective. Hone In.

Features:

◆ Map shows current location, your target distance in bold type, and a large arrow pointing the way.

◆ Choose your target destination using either a map, a text search, your current location, or a saved location.

◆ Drag your target on the map to reposition

◆ Easily zoom in on your current location, your target destination, or both.

◆ Rotation mode uses your devices compass to dynamically point the real direction to your target destination.

◆ Pan, zoom, and rotate your map in any of Standard, Hybrid, or Satellite modes.

◆ Display distance in Imperial or Metric units.

◆ Save multiple target locations

◆ Always saves your last destination to use on next application startup.

Typical Use (on a hypothetical Hawaiian vacation):

◆ You park your car on a street in Honolulu, somewhere in Waikiki. Fire up Hone In and choose My Location. When youre done shopping and dining, let Hone In guide you back to your car.

◆ You leave Waikiki to see a bit of local Hawaii. Arriving in Kailua, you want to get to the beach. Fire up Hone In, search for Kailua Beach Park, and youre off to sun and sand. When youve baked in the sun for a bit too long, fire up Hone In to find your way to some local shave ice.

◆ You rent a kayak for that "you just have to do" experience of jumping from the cliffs into Sharks Cove on the back side of Moku Nui, an island off beautiful Lanikai Beach. How far do you have to paddle? Let Hone In tell you. But be care, you may want to go around the shallow parts of the reef! Using the satellite map, you can see where you are and avoid getting wet when you really dont want to. Of course, you did remember the waterproof iPhone case, right?

◆ Back at the hotel, youd like an evening stroll to savor a warm Hawaiian night. Before leaving the lobby, fire up Hone In and save the hotel as a target. Now you can wander at will with the comfort of knowing, at any time, how far and in which direction the hotel is.
